This Might Be The Billboard
But the font needs to be rescued!

Billboard 1: original font

There has been some discussion over the font. It was suggested I use my own handwriting. So here are a few more billboards. Please leave a comment and let me know which one you like best! Thanks

Brilliant! I love it. (However, I hate to be the one to point out that you colored outside the lines just a bit;)

Ian,
I'm not crazy about billboards, especially in rural areas, but at least yours is attractive! When you choose a font--and the font color and size--think about how easy it is to read first. I find it hard to figure out what some billboards are about, and I think that's annoying as it distracts me when I'm doing something really important--driving a car.

I like the first example the best, but I'm not sure why. I'd like it better if the letters were a bit bigger.

I'd go with Billboard four, but with the letters i black. I agree with Patti in that I think one of the biggest mistakes in billboard design is to make it hard to see what the billboard is about in the 2 seconds you have to look at it from the road. Having the information all in one place (not at opposite ends of the billboard) helps, and the legibility in black is better. I might just like the all caps because they are bigger - generally lowercase is easier to decipher.
My two cents. Other than that, love the illustration.
