50,000 Words???!!!!

Oh, what the heck. I'll do it... at least, I'll try it. No that sounds defeatist. I'll do it. NANO, the National Novel Writing Month.

What's that all about? It's this silly idea where you write a novel in a month. 50,000 words (or more).

I know, crazy. Especially for me. It takes me a year to write 5,000 words...

So now what? Well, it's day one. I have no idea, no topic, no plot... Oh yeah, I'm off to a good start.. Well, here it goes...

GO IAN! GO IAN! You know what - if you have to take the first day or two here to formulate a plot and some characters, fear not. You can definitely catch up, and then you'll know where you're going (if you have a plot, etc) so it will be easier! Remember, you can write more than one thing. Just do 50,000 words total and you're there! Also, remember the 40,000 word competition on my blog, just in case you know, say, a hurricane happens and you almost get to 50,000 but not quite.
But no excuses now. You're in. So there's no turning back now! This will light a fire under you! :)
